Zinger Burger Recipe
Here's a delicious zinger burger recipe for you:
Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breasts
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Vegetable oil, for frying
4 burger buns
Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for topping
Mayonnaise and your favorite hot sauce for spreading
Instructions:
Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours) in the refrigerator.
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture, pressing the flour onto the chicken to create a crispy coating.
Carefully place the coated chicken breasts in the hot oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Toast the burger buns in a pan until they're lightly browned.
Assemble the burgers: Spread mayonnaise and hot sauce on the bottom bun, top with lettuce, tomato, and onion slices. Place the fried chicken on top, and then cover with the top bun.
Serve the zinger burgers hot with your favorite side dishes.
Enjoy your homemade zinger burgers! Feel free to customize the toppings and level of spiciness to your liking.
