Chicken Keema Paratha Recipe



Here's a tasty chicken keema paratha recipe for you:


Ingredients:


1 cup minced chicken

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 small onion, finely chopped

2-3 green chilies, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon ginger paste

1/2 teaspoon garlic paste

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon red chili powder

Salt to taste

Ghee or oil for cooking

Water as needed

Instructions:


In a mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for about 20-30 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix the whole wheat flour with a pinch of salt and enough water to make a smooth, stiff dough. Cover and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small disc.

Take a portion of the marinated chicken mixture and place it in the center of a dough disc. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to seal it and form a ball.

Gently flatten the stuffed ball and roll it out into a paratha, using some dry flour to prevent sticking.

Heat a tawa over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa.

Cook the paratha on one side, and flip it.

Spread a little ghee or oil on the cooked side and flip again. Press gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking.

Cook until both sides are golden brown and crisp.

Repeat the process with the remaining dough and chicken mixture.

Serve the chicken keema paratha hot. It can be enjoyed with yogurt, pickle, or any chutney of your choice.
