Chicken Bread Patty Recipe
Here's a chicken bread patty recipe:
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped bell peppers
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
4-6 slices of bread
Water
Oil for frying
Instructions:
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add minced garlic and ginger paste. Sauté for another minute.
Add shredded chicken and spices - garam masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
Add bell peppers, and cook for another 2 minutes.
Turn off the heat and mix in the chopped coriander leaves. Let the filling mixture cool down.
Dip each slice of bread in water, then gently squeeze out the excess water. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto a bread slice and fold it over to create a half-moon shape. Seal the edges by pressing them together.
Heat oil in a pan for frying. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the pan and fry until they turn golden brown on both sides.
Remove the patties from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
Serve the chicken bread patties hot with ketchup or chutney.
