Vegetable Rolls With Dough Recipe


 Here's a simple recipe for making vegetable rolls with homemade dough:


Ingredients for Dough:


2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon oil

About 3/4 cup warm water

Ingredients for Vegetable Filling:


2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, etc.), finely chopped

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, paste

1 teaspoon soy sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

 Oil for cooking 

Instructions:


In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Add the oil and mix well.

Gradually add warm water and knead until you have a smooth and elastic dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

While the dough is resting, prepare the vegetable filling. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, ginger, and onion. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.

Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for a few minutes until they are slightly cooked but still crispy.

Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the filling cool down.

Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a thin circle (about 6-8 inches in diameter).

Place a spoonful of the vegetable filling onto one half of the dough circle.

Fold the other half of the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges to seal the roll.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat. fry the vegetable rolls in the pan until they are golden brown  on both sides.

Serve the vegetable rolls hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
