Palak Goshat Recipe

 Here's a tasty recipe for Mutton Champ (Rib) meat with Palak (Spinach):


Ingredients:


500g Mutton Champ (Rib) meat

2 cups Chopped Palak (Spinach)

2 onions, finely chopped

2 tomatoes, pureed

2-3 green chilies, chopped

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon garam masala

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking

Instructions:


Marinate the mutton champ meat with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt. Let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker or a deep pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Add the marinated mutton champ meat and cook on medium-high heat until it's browned on all sides.

Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.

Add garam masala and salt, then add enough water to cover the meat. Close the pressure cooker lid (if using) and cook until the meat is tender (usually about 4-5 whistles on medium heat).

Once the meat is cooked, open the lid and add the chopped palak (spinach). Let it wilt and cook for a few minutes.

Adjust seasoning if needed and cook until the palak is cooked through.

Garnish with chopped green chilies and serve hot with roti or rice.
