French Fries
Here's a tasty recipe for French fries with flour and spices:
Ingredients:
4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl of cold water and let them soak for about 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch for crispier fries.
Drain and pat the potatoes dry with paper towels.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Toss the dried potato strips in the flour mixture until they are well coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot
Carefully add a batch of coated potato strips to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fries with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with additional salt if desired.
Repeat the frying process with the remaining batches of coated potatoes.
Serve the French fries immediately while they're still hot and crispy.
Enjoy your homemade French fries with souce.
