Coriander Naan Recipe

Here's a coriander naan recipe for you:

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

3/4 cup warm milk

2 tablespoons yogurt

2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)

2 tablespoons melted butter or ghee

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the frothy yeast mixture and yogurt to the flour mixture.

Knead the dough until it's smooth and elastic, adding a bit more warm milk or water if needed.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and knead in the chopped coriander.

Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a circle shape, about 1/4 inch thick.

Heat a tawa (flat griddle) over medium-high heat.

Dip your fingers in water and apply a thin layer of water on one side of the naan.

Place the wet side of the naan onto the hot tawa, water-side down. Press gently to make sure it sticks to the tawa.

Cook for about a minute or until you see bubbles forming on the surface.cook the other side for another minute until it's cooked.

Brush the cooked naan with melted butter or ghee.

Enjoy your tasty and soft coriander naan with your favorite curry or as a delicious side dish!
