Chicken Tikka Recipe



Here's a tasty chicken tikka recipe for you:


Ingredients:


500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste

1 tablespoon garam masala

1 tablespoon cumin powder

1 tablespoon coriander powder

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Salt to taste

Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions:


In a large bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, vegetable oil, and salt to make the marinade.


Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours, preferably overnight for the best flavor.


If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent them from burning during grilling.


Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.


Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers.


Grill the chicken skewers for about 10-15 minutes on each side or until they are fully cooked and slightly charred.


Once cooked, remove the chicken tikka from the skewers and serve hot with naan or rice. You can also garnish with some lemon wedges and chopped coriander leaves.
