Chicken Chowmein Recipe
Here's a Chicken Chowmein recipe for you:
Ingredients:
200g chicken breast, thinly sliced
200g chow mein noodles
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, cabbage, etc.), julienned
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Boil the chowmein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, marinate the sliced chicken with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until it's cooked through. Remove the chicken from the wok and set aside.
In the same wok, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the julienned vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for a few minutes until they're slightly tender but still crisp.
Push the vegetables to the side of the wok and add the cooked chowmein noodles to the other side. Pour the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the noodles. Toss everything together, incorporating the vegetables and sauces evenly.
Add the cooked chicken back to the wok and give everything a final toss to combine.
Taste and adjust the seasoning with more soy sauce or salt if needed.
Once everything is heated through and well-mixed, remove the wok from heat.
Serve your delicious Chicken Chowmein hot and enjoy!
