Aloo Ki Bhujia Recipe
Here's a recipe for Chatpati Aloo ki Bhujia:
Ingredients:
3-4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and sliced into thin strips
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon amchur (dried mango) powder
2 tablespoons tomato paste
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
Add the sliced potatoes and mix well to coat them with the oil and seeds.
Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, amchur powder, and salt over the potatoes. Mix everything together.
Cover the pan and cook the potatoes on low-medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Once the potatoes are almost cooked, add the tomato paste and mix well. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the potatoes are fully cooked and the flavors are well combined.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve the Chatpati Aloo ki Bhujia hot with lemon wedges on the side.
