Egg Fried Rice Recipe
Here's a simple recipe for Egg Fried Rice:
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked rice (preferably chilled)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas,bell papers, corn, etc.)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 green onions, chopped.
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the mixed vegetables and sauté for a few minutes until they are tender-crisp.
Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until they are fully cooked.
Now, add the chilled cooked rice to the skillet and mix it with the vegetables and eggs.
Pour the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) over the rice and toss everything together, making sure the sauces are evenly distributed.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Continue to cook and stir for a few more minutes until the rice is heated through and well combined with the other ingredients. add chopped green onions for added flavor and color.
