Chicken Ginger Recipe
Here's a delicious Chicken Ginger recipe:
Ingredients:
1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon nutmeg powder
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Chopped ginger
Chopped green chili
Instructions:
In a large bowl, marinate the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, vegetable oil, and salt. Mix well, ensuring the chicken is coated evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
Heat a pan over medium heat and add the marinated chicken along with the marinade. Cook the chicken until it turns golden brown and is cooked through. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Once the chicken is fully cooked, adjust the seasoning according to your taste. If you prefer a thicker gravy, you can cook the chicken with the lid on for a few more minutes.
Sprinkle the nutmeg powder on the top.
Garnish the chicken ginger with freshly chopped coriander leaves,ginger,green chili and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side. It goes well with naan bread.
